Deposits of £50 per person (non refundable) are acceptable.
No deposits are accepted within eight weeks prior to departure (unless
otherwise agreed with Argon Events). The balance is due within 28 days
of your deposit.
What happens when you make your booking?

When you make a booking online with us, the software automatically generates
an email reply to you, acknowledging that an order has been received.
At the same time it sends us an email notifying ourelves that an order
has been placed. All your critical information is automatically stored
and encrypted on a secure website. We then extract the information and
process the order. This means that if you make a mistake, particularly
with the amount to pay (or you inadvertently book twice), a machine is
not automatically trying to debit the incorrect amount from your account.
All our transactions are manually processed ONLY after
client booking details have been checked and if necessary verified with
the client. Once the booking has been authorised and processed a further
email is sent to you directly from ourselves confirming your booking and
the details therein.
How to make your booking back
Go to each appropriate drop down menu and make your relevant selection.
Any changes to the price that your selection affects is automatically
reflected in the "price per person" box at the bottom. Don't
forget to insert the number of people booking before selecting "Purchase"
On selecting "Purchase" you will be taken to view your basket
showing you the details of your proposed booking. If the details are correct
select "Next" to continue. The next page is the Billing &
Shipping Address details page. Please make sure that you read the notes
at the top of the page (as displayed below here) carefully before filling
in this information.
1) For your transaction to be accepted, the Billing
address (below) MUST be the address to which the card is registered, even
if you are currently living elsewhere.

If you are booking any of our Coach Packages, you do not need to enter
a separate shipping address, as all correspondence and confirmations are
forwarded by email (Event tickets are distributed on the coach)
3)
If you are booking either, Eurostar, Ticket/hotel or Ticket only, tick
the box at the bottom of the page to enter a different address for shipping
if you do not want your tickets shipped to the Billing address.
Once this information is filled in select "Next" to move to
the "Final Checkout Confirmation" page where the details of
your order and your Billing information are displayed. At the bottom of
the page you need to tick the box confirming that you have read, understood
and accepted the terms and conditions, before the page will move on. Once
this is done select "Checkout" and you are through to the secure
area where you fill in your card details etc.
Once the details are complete, select the "click to complete order"
icon and your booking is on it's way to us. You are not committed to the
booking at any point prior to this.
NOTE Always make sure that you have read and understood our terms and
conditions before making your booking
Which room to choose back
When selecting your room requirements, if you are booking for 2 or 3 people
you choose from twin (2 single beds), double (1 large double bed) or triple
(3 single beds) from the "room requirements" drop down menu.
If you are one person travelling alone, you select single. You will see
that this choice reflects the single room supplement appropriate to your
booking.
For those people booking say for 4 people and want one twin room and one
double room, then select say twin room in the first box and then in the
"extra rooms" box select double.
If you are booking either a Eurostar or Ticket & Hotel package please
be sure, when selecting the number of nights required, that you select
the correct drop down menu relative to your room choice.
Coach Package bookings back
When booking on to coach Packages, don't forget to select your departure
point. Any appropriate supplements are automatically added and reflected
at the bottom of the order form
Eurostar Package bookings back
When booking a Eurostar Package you are requested to fill in the appropriate
arrival and departure dates according to your choice. These of course
should correctly reflect the number of nights hotel you are booking. Please
use the following format

You will also be asked to choose your preferred departure times for the
Eurostar train in both directions. We will endeavour to match the reservations
as closely as possible to your choice. If availability dictates trains
more than one hour outside your chosen times, we will contact you before
reserving the train tickets. Please use the following format
dep 08.30hrs ret 16.00hrs
Ticket & Hotel bookings back
When booking a Ticket & Hotel Package you are requested to fill in
the appropriate arrival and departure dates according to your choice.
These of course should correctly reflect the number of nights hotel you
are booking. Please use the following format
arr 16/10/04 dep 18/10/04.
The "payment" box back
The Payment box offers two self explanatary options, full payment, or
£50 per person deposit. If you select the deposit option, the order
form will still show the full amount of the booking at the bottom of the
page, but this will change on the next page when you select Purchase.

Paying instalments, paying your balance
back
If you have paid a deposit, you will have the option to pay off your balance
over a period of time by instalments, or to pay off the full balance in
one go. To make a payment, simply go to "My Account"
on the Argon Events homepage and fill in your email address and booking
reference number to access your account. You will then be presented with
the options to pay either an instalment (in increments of £50) or
the full remaining balance. Once you have made your selection, simply
follow the transaction instructions and submit. An updated confirmation/invoice,
reflecting your payment will be forwarded in due course and the outstanding
balance in "My Account" will be adjusted accordingly.
Final Balances are normally required within 28 days of paying a deposit
unless otherwise stated for an individual Event, whereby balances
MUST be paid no later than 9 weeks prior to the commencement
of the Event.
Paris "Choose your own hotel" selection
back
When booking Paris Eurostar or Ticket & Hotel Packages, you have the
option to choose your own hotel. If you are happy for us to select the
hotel for you from one of our usual 2 star establishments, then do not
fill in the options. If you would like to choose yourself, then make 3
choices from the list provided and we will endeavour to meet your wishes.
Any appropriate supplements will not be indicated in the total on your
order form, but will be added to your account once the hotel is confirmed.
You will then receive a further statement indicating the required balance.
BOOKING
CONDITIONS back
1) GENERAL All bookings are subject to these terms and conditions
which are to be construed in accordance with English Law.
2) PAYMENT a) When making a booking, the full amount of the holiday
is payable plus all applicable insurance premiums (if required)
b) Deposits. Argon Events will accept a deposit of £50.00 per person
on all holidays. Deposits are accepted by Argon Events on the strict acceptance
by the customer that the deposit is non refundable. Unless otherwise stated
for individual Events, balances are to be received by Argon Events within
28 days of the placing of the deposit unless otherwise stated (see above).
It shall be the responsibility of the customer to forward the balance
within the time allowed. If the balance price of the holiday is not received
by Argon Events within the time allowed, Argon Events reserve the right
to treat your booking as cancelled by you and apply the cancellation charges
as set out in clause 3 below. Argon Events or their agents will not accept
deposits within 8 weeks prior to departure, except in situations as described
in clause 2c below.
c) For Tours that only become available at or within 8 weeks of departure,
deposits may be acceptable at the discretion of Argon Events and details
of when the balance of payment is due will be given at the time of booking.
d) If you book a holiday through one of our Booking Agents, all monies
paid to that Agent for that holiday will be held by him on your behalf
until we despatch our confirmation to you and a contract between us comes
into existence. Thereafter the Agent holds the monies on our behalf.
3) CANCELLATIONS a) Cancellations by the customer. Customers may
cancel event bookings by giving notice in writing to Argon Events. When
notice of cancellation is given to Argon Events more than 8 weeks before
the event date. Argon Events shall be entitled to retain 25% of the value
of the booking. When notice of cancellation is given less than 8 weeks
before the event date, Argon Events shall be entitled to retain the whole
of the value of the booking. However, should Argon Events be able to resell
the booking, then up to 75% of the booking value shall be refunded to
the customer. NOTE:- Ticket Only purchases are non refundable.
b) Cancellation by Argon Events. Argon Events shall use to it's best endeavours
to obtain for the customer a refund of any sums paid or payable to a third
party by Argon Events in respect of the booking, other than the £5.00
charge made for the booking.
c) Argon Events reserve the right to cancel any Tour on which there are
insufficient bookings made to justify its departure. In the unlikely event
of this happening, you will be advised at least 7 days prior to departure
and will be entitled to a full refund of all monies paid.
4) PRICES Argon Events have the right to change the prices in force
at any time up to 14 days before the event date. In the event of such
changed prices, the customer shall be entitled to cancel his booking by
giving written notice to Argon Events within 7 days of the price change.
In such an event, the customer shall be entitled to a full refund of monies
paid.
5) NON APPEARANCE OR NON EVENT In the event of the non appearance
of an artist or the cancellation of an event, the liability of Argon Events
shall be limited to its obligations under Clause 3b above and Argon Events
cannot be held responsible for any inconvenience or monetary or other
loss.
6)
CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE Where an event involves travel by airlines,
ship, rail or coach, the conditions of carriage of the operators of the
airline, shipping company, railway company or coach operator will apply
to the customer. Where Argon Events make arrangements with third parties
for carriage by air, road sea or rail, accommodation, transportation,
restaurants or otherwise, they do so only as the agent of the customer
and on the express condition that no liability of any kind shall attach
to Argon Events in connection with or arising out of such arrangements.
7) INJURY LOSS OR DAMAGE Argon Events accept liability for injury,
loss or damage caused by the negligence of its servants and employees.
Argon Events can accept no liability whatsoever arising from any actual
default of any independent organisations or of their employees or agents,
who may be involved in providing services included in the event arrangements.
8) DISRUPTION Argon Events can accept no responsibility for any
disruption before or during an event arising out of matters of which Argon
Events have no control, for example, war or threat of war, riots, fire,
flood, industrial disputes or government action.
9) HOLIDAY INSURANCE Argon Events make it a condition of carriage
that customers carry adequate travel insurance. We offer a comprehensive
holiday insurance package for your convenience, or you can arrange your
own, but will have to offer proof of cover before travelling. If you should
decide to travel without cover you will be required to sign an agreement
indemnifying Argon Events against any expense incurred as a result of
having inadequate insurance protection. It is recommended that if placing
a deposit on your holiday , you should take out insurance at the time
of placing your deposit.
10) STANDARDS OF PERSONAL CONDUCT We expect all our clients to
have consideration for their fellow passengers. In the event of any client
behaving in such a way as is likely in our opinion or the opinion of any
person in authority, to cause offence, damage, danger or distress to others,
we reserve the right to terminate that person's holiday arrangements.
In this event, our responsibility for their holiday will thereupon immediately
cease and we will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by
them as a result.
11) PASSPORTS, VISAS ETC- YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES. It is your responsibility
to ensure that you and those for whom you are booking are in possession
of valid passports and any appropriate visas. Be sure to check passport
and visa requirements with the consulate of countries you will be travelling
through well in advance, particularly if you are a non British passport
holder. You are responsible for any charges, fines etc that may be levied
by authorities in the U K or overseas for non compliance with regulations
in the area and any such amounts will be recharged to you.
