The overnight cruise to Norway adds a new dimension to taking a short break. The journey comes complete with your own air-conditioned private en-suite cabin. On board you can enjoy the live entertainment programme – with dancing to a live band, dine in a choice of restaurants, take in a movie, have a flutter in the casino and enjoy the atmosphere and live music in the pub!

On the morning of day two – you wake up to arriving fresh and relaxed and ready for your adventure ashore in Kristiansand – Southern Norway. Your break features two or three full days ashore in Norway, where you have time to enjoy the relaxed pace, tranquil scenery and beautiful southern coast of Norway. Our break includes overnight accommodation at a choice of two centrally situated hotels for either one or two nights depending on your choice of departure date. Both hotels are within walking distance from the terminal on your arrival.

Kristiansand is Norway’s fifth largest city and is classed as the “capital” of the South coast. Kristiansand was originally built as a fortress town by a royal command in 1641 and has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere of a small town, with an attractive geometrical layout dating back to the Renaissance period in the old centre (“Kvadraturen”). Pack your walking shoes and take to one of the many marked nature trails – especially the Banheia area – with lovely lakes and views over the city and can be easily reached on foot from your hotel. In the evenings the locals love the harbour area where there are a range of wonderful eating-places and bars. For a great day out, take the local bus on a ride up the beautiful coast and discover lovely fishing villages such as Lilles and and Grimstad and go onto visit Arendal.

Sea crossings with a berth in a 2-berth inside cabin with shower and toilet. (Cabin Upgrades are available at a supplement). Hotel accommodation for the relevant number of nights based in a twin bedded room with shower and toilet including breakfast.

Meals except breakfast at hotel. Meals on board ship can be pre-booked – please ask for details.
Transfers between quay and hotels. (Both hotels are within walking distance of the passenger terminal in Kristiansand). Alternative cabin accommodation is at a supplement or reduction depending on the numbers sharing the cabin. Travel Insurance.
