Get into the festive spirit and soak up the atmosphere. Relax in one of the many bars on board – including a ‘Pub’ with Pianist. You’ll also find two cinemas and a casino on board ship. Dine in style at one of the beautifully appointed restaurants with a Gala buffet diner, including wine ad libitum, coffee and liqueur. Then afterwards the entertainment programme kicks in and the countdown begins to celebrating the start of the New Year! At midnight we will be ready to help you celebrate the coming of the New Year and to charge your glass with champagne. And the fun doesn’t stop at midnight – you can continue to celebrate in one of our bars or dance the night away in the disco. And when you’ve had enough, it’s a short stroll back to your private air-conditioned – ensuite cabin!
Wake up on New Year’s Day morning to a hearty buffet breakfast and on arrival in Holland coaches transfer you on the short drive to the city centre of Amsterdam. On arrival there’s a sightseeing tour organised by canal boat. The tour ends with a fabulous Chinese banquet lunch at the world famous floating restaurant ‘The Sea Palace’ which is sited in Amsterdam harbour.
Coach transfers are provided to get you back to the ship. Once back on board – relax in the Columbus lounge with one of your favourite cocktails. Evening Dinner Buffet is included with glass of wine, beer or soft drink. Afterwards enjoy the evening entertainment or a movie in one of the cinemas on board ship.
