On day two,
the morning is spent cruising at sea and just after 11:00am you’ll catch your first sight of Denmark, with the island of Fano. At 12:00 (noon) you arrive in Esbjerg to enjoy ‘A Taste of Denmark’ with your afternoon ashore. On arrival complimentary coach transfers take you to the center of Esbjerg for shopping (or on Friday departures the coaches take you to visit Esbjerg’s Maritime museum). At 14:30 your coach will transfer you for the highlight of your time ashore in Denmark – a visit to the picturesque town of Ribe – the former medieval capital. Ribe is a charming and interesting town, with narrow winding cobbled streets and timber framed houses. Ribe's history is captured in the 800-year-old Cathedral, famous for the storks nesting on its steeple! The main highlight of your visit to Ribe includes afternoon tea – Danish style at Denmark’s oldest Hotel Dagmar – where you will be served coffee and cake.
